MultiTracks are now available from Gospel worship leader and songwriter, VaShawn Mitchell, who just released his fifth studio album, Unstoppable. "Unstoppable is not about being invincible, it's really about understanding who you are in Heaven, who you are on this earth," says Mitchell. "God knows our ending before our beginning and I created the music to tell one big story that I hope empowers people."
The title track, "Unstoppable," joyfully emphasizes that we can do all things through Christ, who is the author of our story and our lives. The chorus declares, "I am unstoppable. There's something down inside that I just can't hide. I am unstoppable. And soon the world will see it's the God in me that makes me unstoppable." Claiming the words of Proverbs 18:10, Mitchell wrote the powerful anthem, "God My God," during a time of great personal challenge. “After my first back surgery," he says, "the pain became worse that threatened another operation. My chiropractor said if you don’t want another surgery just call on the God you sing about. This truly served as a reminder to call on His Name ... that God’s Name has ALL power. His Name is a strong tower ... I run to and am safe.” "Greatest" takes on a call and response format in the verses, building in intensity while praising God's virtues. The voices all join together in the chorus to declare to the Father, "You're the greatest!" Encouraging a movement of people who live out these ideals in every aspect of their lives, Mitchell concludes, "We believe that when we embrace God’s vision for our life, we are…UNSTOPPABLE."
