As a worship leader and the daughter of a pastor, Tasha Cobbs has been developing her gifts as a songwriter and psalmist since she was a youth, leading her church congregation in worship every week. Her first major label album, Grace, is a moving example of the raw power of a live worship experience and we have just released the MultiTracks from two of the tracks, "For Your Glory" and "Break Every Chain."
"For Your Glory" begins simply with a keyboard accompanying the vocals, a backing choir entering in the second verse. It continues to build, a declaration of devotion, "For your glory, I will do anything. Just to see You, to behold you as my King. " The bridge gives great opportunity for improvisation, contributing to a song that is truly moving and worshipful. "Break Every Chain," the powerful anthem by Will Reagan, is certain to speak to worshippers. The instruments start out smooth and sustained, increasing in energy as the song progresses. “The first time I heard ‘Break Every Chain ’ I listened to it all night long,” Tasha recalls. “I have ministered it at my church a few times, and it always has the same affect—chains are broken."
